Terms & Conditions

At Ballet Club UK, we are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for every child. By registering, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Enrolment

A completed online enrolment form is required before attending any trial or regular class.

Fees & Payments

Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable.

Missed classes are not credited or refunded.

Payments must be made on time to secure your child’s place within the class.

Late payments may result in suspension from classes until the account is brought up to date.

Once a student has attended any part of a term, full term fees remain payable.

Class Structure

Classes run between 30–60 minutes, depending on age and level.

Students typically attend one class per week.

Ballet Club UK follows the school calendar; classes do not run during public/bank or school holidays, unless otherwise stated.

During exceptional circumstances (e.g. severe weather or national restrictions), classes may move online.

Uniform & Presentation

Students are expected to attend class neatly presented:

• Correct Ballet Club UK uniform must be worn (this is not required in trial class)

• Hair should be securely tied back

• Jewellery should not be worn for safety reasons

• Water bottles are permitted; food and chewing gum are not allowed in class

Attendance & Punctuality

Students should arrive on time and ready for class.

Regular attendance supports progress and confidence.

Repeated absence may affect participation in performances or assessments.

Communication

All communication should take place via email during working hours.

We aim to respond to all enquiries as promptly as possible.

Withdrawal from Classes

Should you wish to withdraw your child, one full term’s written notice is required via email.

Fees in lieu of notice will be charged if this notice period is not provided.

Additional Costs

Term fees do not include:

• Examinations

• Costumes

• Performances or events

These will be communicated in advance where applicable.

Class Cancellations

If a class is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, Ballet Club UK will aim to:

• Offer a rescheduled session, or

• Provide an alternative solution where possible

Refunds will not be issued in these instances unless otherwise agreed.

Health, Safety & Liability

Whilst every care is taken to provide a safe and supportive environment, Ballet Club UK cannot accept responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings whilst attending classes or events.

By enrolling, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these terms.

Behaviour & Safety

At Ballet Club UK, the safety, wellbeing, and positive experience of every child is our highest priority.

If a child’s behaviour is repeatedly disruptive, unsafe, or harmful towards other students, a discussion will first be held with the parent/guardian to work together towards a positive resolution.

Should the behaviour continue and no suitable resolution be reached, Ballet Club UK reserves the right, at the teacher’s discretion, to withdraw the child from classes in order to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students.

Safeguarding & Child Welfare

The wellbeing of every child is our highest priority.

Ballet Club UK is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in line with UK best practice.

All staff work to create a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.

Students are supervised only during their scheduled class time.

Parents/guardians remain responsible for children before and after class, including drop-off and collection.

If you have any safeguarding concerns, please contact us directly and confidentially.

By registering, you give permission for basic first aid to be administered if required.
